Advanced Infrastructure for Smart Waste Management

Electra Environmental Infrastructure is a leading company in Israel’s waste management sector, delivering smart solutions designed to significantly reduce landfill volumes, preserve valuable natural resources, and minimize harmful greenhouse gas emissions.

Over the years, waste has become a critical global challenge. In Israel, achieving the national target of reducing landfill disposal to just 20% by 2030 requires bold and innovative action.

The company designs, installs, operates, and maintains advanced waste management systems for residential and public buildings. These include pneumatic waste collection systems for individual buildings and neighborhoods, advanced facilities for sorting, recycling, and waste transfer, and solar-powered smart waste bins equipped with automatic compactors to optimize space and efficiency.

Electra Greentech

A Cleaner Future Starts Today

Electra Greentech is Israel’s leading operator of wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs), managing more than 20 facilities nationwide and treating approximately 300,000 cubic meters of wastewater daily.

The company provides tailored solutions to municipalities and water utilities across Israel, delivering efficient systems for irrigation and potable water—critical in light of the country’s challenging climate conditions.

Electra Greentech leads major advanced projects at Shafdan, the largest wastewater treatment plant of its kind in the Middle East, serving the greater Tel Aviv metropolitan area. The company is also responsible for the development and operation of biogas facilities that convert organic waste into renewable energy, as well as a sludge drying project under a BOT model. This facility operates on natural gas and produces nutrient-rich dry sludge suitable for agricultural use or as an environmentally friendly fuel source.
